The charge-framing hearing against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and 33 others in the murder case of truck driver Mohammad Hossain is scheduled for today.
The hearing is expected to take place this afternoon before Dhaka Special Judge Court-4, presided over by Judge Robiul Alam.
Accused former state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Sadek Khan have been brought to court for the hearing.
The proceedings were previously deferred twice, on June 25 and July 26.
According to the case, truck driver Mohammad Hossain was shot dead in the Chaudhury Udyan area of Mohammadpur on July 19, 2024, during the anti-discrimination student movement.
His mother, Rina Begum, filed the murder case with Mohammadpur Police Station on August 31, 2024.
