Chicken is being sold at Tk 240 to 250 per kg in capital's Khilgaon Taltola Kitchen market. The price of shonali chicken has also been increased.
According to the sellers, the retailers have increased the price with an excuse of reduced production.
On the other hand, vegetable market is stable as previous. Moreover, beef is being sold at much higher price with rising demand ahead of Eid. Beef is being sold at Tk 650 to 800 per kg in these markets.
