Commerce Minister, Khandakar Abdul Muktadir has said, the idea that markets are controlled by syndicates will be removed.
He also announced that the entire supply chain of imported goods will be brought under an AI system to monitor prices and ensure stability.
He shared this plan while inaugurating the country’s first “Farmers’ Market” in Tilagor.
The Commerce Minister said, government is working to stabilize the market by using advanced technology and various systems.
He added that the activities of Trading Corporation of Bangladesh, or TCB, will be expanded to support consumers and improve market control.
