Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has said, his government will create a congenial environment in revenue sector for honest & efficient officers working in revenue sector.
He made the remark while speaking at a program of NBR at China-Bangladesh Friendship Conference Center in the capital on Tuesday morning.
At the program, the premier answered questions from officials at different levels of revenue board.
He expressed hope that no unpleasant situation would arise in the future.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman also stressed gradual reforms in tax process, taking advice from tax-policy experts, and assured that the government would support NBR in boosting revenue collection.
