Agriculture Minister, Amin Ur Rashid Yasin, has stated that the budget allocation for the agriculture sector this time has been increased more than at any point in the past.
He made this remark after inaugurating National Fruit Fair at Khamarbari in the capital on Thursday morning .
The Minister said, such fairs will encourage both domestic and foreign exporters.
He also said, several fruits, including dragon fruit, mango, pineapple, and jackfruit, are currently being exported abroad.
The Minister Also mentioned that the government has planned to organize fairs abroad alongside domestic ones to boost exports.
The Minister also outlined the Ministry of Agriculture's initiatives to develop alternatives to certain fruits and produce processed fruit items.
