After daylong clashes and chases, quota reform activists took control of most of the halls of Dhaka University at night.
The president and general secretary of Rokeya Hall Chhatra League were forced to leave the hall. Many leaders and activists of Chhatra League did not enter due to security reasons.
In the meantime, the Provost issued a written statement banning politics in most of the student halls at night.

5 teachers of the university were injured in the attack of the quota opponents.
