Authorities say, Dhaka South City Corporation is now more focused than ever on waste management and mosquito control. The statement was made during a cleaning drive at Dhanmondi’s Rabindra Sarobar.
Officials said, efforts are underway to improve infrastructure and keep areas clean for public use.
They stressed the need to prepare early to prevent dengue outbreaks. Authorities also called for cooperation between citizens and the city corporation to ensure a cleaner and more livable city.
