Experts say, restoring discipline in public transport will require strong political will and coordinated action from the government and relevant stakeholders. 

Dangerous overtaking, aggressive driving and competition among buses remain common sights on Dhaka’s streets. 

Various initiatives have been introduced over the years to bring order to the public transport sector but all are failed.
