Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman held a meeting at Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane, London.
Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus is staying in the UK on a four-day official visit.
Earlier, the Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Shafiqul Alam said, Tarique Rahman's meeting with the Chief Adviser in London is important for the future political reality of Bangladesh.
He also said, the meeting is also important for the country's democratic transformation.
He came up with these remarks at a briefing in London a day before the meeting.
