Africa CDC says, no new Ebola cases were reported in Uganda over the past 24 hours. However, 45 new infections have been confirmed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. 

Health officials are facing major difficulties in responding to the outbreak. Many health facilities lack clean water, protective gear, and disinfection supplies. 

Security concerns, a shortage of ambulances, heavy workloads for medical staff, and poor transport links are also slowing response efforts. 

The agency says public trust remains a key challenge.
