Eid holidaymakers have started leaving capital to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with their family. From Kamalapur Railway Station, trains have been departing for various destinations as per schedule.
A total of five pairs of special Eid trains will run, from today. Special trains may be introduced on several routes, depending on demand.
Earlier, Bangladesh Railways started the sale of train tickets for the Eid-ul-Fitr journey on March 14.
Bus terminals, in Dhaka, have been bustling with passengers since this morning, all aiming to reach their homes without delay.
