Traffic pressure has increased on highways as people travel home ahed of Eid ul Adha. At Padma Bridge toll plaza in Munshiganj, a heavy flow of vehicles was reported, causing slow movement for nearly two kilometers.
Since morning, excessive traffic has been observed on the Dhaka–Mawa Expressway in Munshiganj, the main gateway to the country’s southern region.
As usual, a large number of private cars and motorcycles gathered on the road.
Meanwhile, no major traffic congestion was reported on Narayanganj sections of Dhaka–Chattogram and Dhaka–Sylhet highways.
Since morning, passengers were waiting in Signboard area for buses.
