Muslim devotees across Bangladesh are celebrating Eid-ul-Azha with due religious fervour. The main congregation of the holy Eid-ul Adha was held at 7:30 am at Jatiya Eidgah ground adjacent to the High Court under the arrangement of Dhaka South City Corporation today.
Hafeez Maulana Mufti Ruhul Amin, Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque conducted the jamaat.
Meanwhile, President Mohammed Shahabuddin offered the Eid-ul-Azha prayers along with hundreds of Muslims from all walks of lives at the main Eid congregation at the National Eidgah.
Noted personalities, including Chief Justice, Supreme Court judges, lawmakers, senior political leaders and top civil and military officials offered their Eid prayers at the National Eidgah Maidan.
A special munajat was offered seeking divine blessings for the peace and progress of the country and the welfare of the people as well as the Muslim Ummah. Besides, Five more Eid Jamaat also held in National Mosque Baitul Mukkram.
