Meanwhile thirteen officers were produced before the tribunal on Sunday. 

Earlier, on 8 October, International Crimes Tribunal-1 issued arrest warrants against 30 individuals—including ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her security adviser retired Major General Tarique Ahmed Siddique, and five former directors general of DGFI—in two separate cases related to crimes against humanity. 

Subsequently, on 11 October, the Bangladesh Army announced in a press briefing that 15 serving army officers had been taken into custody.
