The meeting was chaired by Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the NEC Auditorium on Tuesday morning.

According to the Planning Commission, spending under 18 sub-sectors of the Rohingya support project has been reduced. 

The revised plan includes waste management infrastructure at the Bhasan Char refugee camp, water reservoir development in Ukhiya, and a safe water pipeline in Teknaf municipality. 

Additionally, a new Tk 650 crore project will fund essential services for Rohingya refugees. 

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Tk 232 crore in loans for the initiative, which will be implemented by the Department of Public Health Engineering by 2028.
