Despite the ongoing U.S.-backed ceasefire in Gaza, Israeli forces have carried out another attack, killing five Palestinians. Among the dead are a journalist and a child. Fifteen more people were injured in the strike.
The injured were taken to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital. Medical sources in Gaza said two people, including a child, were killed in Israeli shelling in the Al-Tuffah area of Gaza City early hours of Wednesday.
Another Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli forces in the Zaytoun area of eastern Gaza City.
Later, in central Khan Younis, an Israeli attack killed photojournalist Mahmoud Wadi.
Doctors said he was killed in a drone strike in an area that was not marked as being under Israeli control according to the ceasefire agreement.
Meanwhile, Israeli shelling at a School in central Gaza injured 17 more people. The school was being used as a shelter for displaced families.
