As the water of various rivers including Jamuna, Brahmaputra, Dharla, Dudhkumar are flowing over the danger level, hundreds of thousands of people are stranded in the northern region.
The water is slowly rising in the Jamuna River in Sirajganj. At Sirajganj point, the flow is 3 cm above the danger level. There is a risk of water rise till Monday.
Meanwhile, the water of Brahmaputra River in Kurigram has reduced slightly but still flowing over 70 cm above the danger level.
Besides, the water of Dharla and Dudhkumar is also flowing over above the danger level.
In Sylhet, Sunamganj, even though the water level of the river decreased in the last 24 hours, the suffering of people did not decreased.
Apart from this, the people of Fenchu-ganj, Bala-ganj, Dakshin Surma, Kanaighat are suffering even though the water level of all the rivers has decreased in Sylhet.
