Kapoor held a half an hour meeting with State Minister Shama Obaid at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, followed by a meeting with Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman on Tuesday morning.

On the second day of his visit, Kapoor is scheduled to meet several ministers, state ministers, and business leaders. 

On the last day, he will hold discussions with representatives of various political parties. 

Earlier on Monday night, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, S.Paul Kapoor, arrived in Dhaka last night for a three-day visit aimed at strengthening strategic ties between the United States and Bangladesh.
