Long queues for fuel continue across Dhaka even today. Customers say they are getting fuel only after waiting for one and a half to two hours since early morning.
Consumers claim they are purchasing only what they need. However, with offices reopening after Eid al-Fitr, increased traffic pressure has made queues at fuel stations even longer.
There are also complain that some pumps are not supplying fuel, which is creating panic among customers.
People are now urging authorities to ensure supply at all stations and remove any rationing system.
Meanwhile, the government maintains that there is no fuel shortage in the country and has urged everyone not to panic.
