Industrial production across Bangladesh has been severely disrupted due to an acute gas shortage caused by a technical fault at a floating LNG terminal.
The crisis has left factories, businesses, and households struggling with inadequate gas supply, while the transport sector has also been affected. Industrial zones, including those in Narsingdi, have been hit hard.
Although CNG filling stations in Feni remained open from the morning, they were unable to supply gas.
Manufacturing operations have been severely hampered, and households across the district are also facing an acute gas shortage.
