Government has banned the use of the Prime Minister's photograph on banners, festoons and billboards prepared for official events.
The Cabinet Division issued a circular in this regard.
According to the circular, signed by Deputy Secretary Tania Afroz on Sunday, banners, festoons and billboards for government programmes must prioritize the subject matter of the event and present only the necessary and relevant information in a balanced manner.
The circular further states that the design of banners, festoons and billboards should ensure that the message and theme of the event are clearly reflected.
