Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has said, his government is ready to hold dialogue with opposition party in the parliament on any issue of national importance.
The PM made the remark during his closing speech at the first session of the 13th National Parliament on Thursday.
In a speech lasting nearly 45 minutes, The PM reviewed the government's activities during its first two months in office.
He stressed the importance of maintaining a stable parliament, saying, political cooperation is essential for the country's progress.
He also said, no one wants to see Bangladesh fail, and that constructive engagement between government and opposition is vital for the nation's future.
