Health Minister Sardar Sakhawat Hossain has said, government has launched an initiative to expand primary healthcare services through 192 urban health centers. He made the remarks at a discussion held at a hotel in the capital on Thursday morning.
The Minister said, the initiative will make it easier to deliver healthcare services, particularly to low-income communities, at their doorstep.
The minister stated that the government's primary objective is to ensure quality primary healthcare for every citizen of the country.
He also noted that, with the support of various international organizations, development partners, and donor agencies, the government is working more effectively to improve the quality of public health services.
