PM, Tarique Rahman, has announced that the Farmer Card program will begin on April 14, while a canal excavation initiative will start on March 16.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to reducing employment inequality, Prime Minister said, imams, khatibs, and other religious leaders will now be included in local law-and-order committees.
The Prime Minister also inaugurated an honorarium program for religious service providers across the country.
Under the initiative, financial allowances will be provided to imams, muezzins, and caretakers of 4908 mosques, as well as priests of 990 temples, abbots of 144 Buddhist monasteries, and pastors of 396 churches.
