Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said, the government is actively working to create a more investment-friendly environment in the country.
Speaking after a meeting with representatives of several countries and donor agencies at a hotel in Banani, Dhaka, the minister shared the information with journalists.
He said, steps are being taken to resolve the ongoing energy crisis in the country. He also announced that the tender process for gas extraction will begin within the next three months.
The minister further stated that the current government wants to maintain stable and friendly relations with neighboring countries.
