The minimum package for Hajj pilgrims under private management is Tk 6,72,618 excluding the cost of sacrificial animal, which is about 10,500 taka less than the government management
Private Hajj management organization Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh announced this package. Registration of private Hajj passengers will start from February 6. The money should be deposited with the agency by 15th March. The price per Riel is fixed at 28 Taka 39 Paisa. Besides, no airlines can transport pilgrims without dedicated flights. Earlier on Wednesday, the state minister for religion announced the price of Hajj package under government management at Tk 6 lakh 83 thousand 18. Hajj will be held on June 27 subject to moon sighting.
