The Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal-JCD, has filed a written complaint against NCP leaders, including Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary and Chief Organiser Sarjis Alam, over an alleged attack and robbery in Habiganj.
The complaint was filed at Habiganj Sadar Police Station by district JCD Joint General Secretary Mohammad Iqbal Hossain Rokon.
According to the complaint, the incident took place on July 28 when JCD activists gathered before visiting the family of July movement martyr Ripon Shil.
The complaint alleges that clashes broke out after NCP activists arrived, and that JCD members were attacked with iron rods, bricks and other locally made weapons.
Several JCD leaders were reportedly injured, while mobile phones and cash were also allegedly taken.
