Calling for no doubts regarding justice for the July massacre, the Law Adviser stated that the crimes committed by the Awami League in July were even more brutal than those committed by the Pakistani army during the 1971 Liberation War.
He made this remarks during a discussion, trial advocacy session, and documentary screening event on July massacre, held at Judicial Administration Training Institute in Dhaka.
Meanwhile, Chief Prosecutor of International Crimes Tribunal, Tazul Islam, asserted that there is no scope to influence the tribunal’s judgment through money or power.
He added that witness hearings in the case against Sheikh Hasina will begin on August 3rd, and efforts will be made to prove the case using the best witnesses.
He further stated that trials for a large number of top commanders are expected to be completed by December.
