Persistent rainfall continues to affect large parts of Bangladesh, with overnight showers in the capital, Dhaka.
Meanwhile, the Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre has warned of possible flash floods as rising river levels threaten several regions across the country.
However, the ongoing downpour, triggered by a low over the Bay of Bengal, has persisted for four consecutive days.
In some areas, rainfall has exceeded 200 millimetres in the past 24 hours, while Chattogram recorded 394 millimetres on Wednesday alone.
The wet weather is expected to continue until Saturday.
