The meeting took place at  Parliament building and was attended by Prime Minister and Leader of the House Tarique Rahman. It was chaired by Acting Speaker Barrister Qaiser Kamal. 

Opposition Leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher, Law Minister Asaduzzaman, Government Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni, Opposition Chief Whip Nahid Islam, and other senior officials were also present in the meeting.

During the meeting, participants were briefed on various state-of-the-art sound system technologies available worldwide for installation in Parliament.
