Two students, including the suspected gunman, have been killed in a shooting at a high school in , southern Philippines's Zamboanga. 

The incident took place Tuesday morning near Ateneo de Zamboanga University.

The local mayor said the student first opened fire at a teacher and then shot a fellow student, who died at the scene. 

The attacker later shot himself. 

Authorities say the situation is now under control, with no active attacker or further casualties reported. 

The motive is still unknown, and an investigation is underway.
