PBI has arrested a domestic worker in connection with the death of a housewife, Ayesha Akter, who allegedly consumed drugged mixed water at Uttara in the capital.
PBP on Thursday Morning said, the domestic worker Bilkis arrested from Gazipur on Thursday.
According to police, Bilkis had been hired as a domestic worker just two days before the incident. As she planned in advanced she allegedly mixed drugs with drinking water and served it to Ayesha Akter and her husband, Anwar Hossain.
She later escape with gold ornaments and cash from the house.
The victim’s younger son filed a case at Uttara West Police Station in connection with the incident. The accused Bilkis has 5 previous cases filed against her, at different police stations in the capital.
