Considering such a situation, bussinessman are thinking about alternative markets after some losses. According to a report by Bangladesh Bank, about 90 percent of the Bangladesh exports to SAARC countries is from India.
Similarly, 92.19 percent of the amount of goods it imports comes from that country. In the last fiscal year 2023-24, Bangladesh exported about 1.56 billion US dollars worth of goods to India. At the same time, its amount to Pakistan was 62 million dollars.
