Speaking on Thursday morning after visiting a photography exhibition jointly organized by Gallery Hamiduzzaman and the Bangladesh Photojournalists Association in Gulshan, Dhaka, Rizvi criticized what he called India's contradictory approach.

Referring to allegations made by an adviser to the Prime Minister, Rizvi claimed that New Delhi overlooks the alleged crimes of a fugitive accused from another country if that person is considered pro-India.

He also strongly criticized Sheikh Hasina's recent audio messages and her speeches delivered from India at various events.
