BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has said that the meeting in London between Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus and BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has met the public's expectations regarding the upcoming national elections in Bangladesh.

Speaking to reporters, he stated that the discussions between the two prominent figures reflected the urgency and significance of ensuring a free, fair, and participatory election.

 

 

He emphasized that the people of Bangladesh are looking for a credible electoral process and the meeting served as a step toward aligning the political leadership with those aspirations.

 

 

He also mentioned that a national election could be held before February if everyone reach a consensus and the environment is made conducive for such a process.
