Inhuman torture in 'Ayna Ghor': Abdullahil Aman Azmi

Retired Brigadier General Abdullahil Aman Azmi, son of former Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Prof. Ghulam Azam, said that he is still physically and mentally ill due to inhumane torture in the Ayna Ghor, a controversial torture cell.

He was a victim of enforced disappearance in 2016 and was in the 'Ayna Ghor' for 8 years. 25 days after being released from the torture cell, he gave his speech in a virtual press briefing at the National Press Club. 

In the briefing, he demanded support to the families of those killed and injured in the anti-discrimination student movement. The 57 officers killed in BDR rebellion, he demanded exemplary punishment for the killers. Demanding justice for every case of missing and murdered, he said,

the real number of martyrs in the Liberation has been deceived. A survey is needed to find out the actual number.
