He made this statement at a special convocation ceremony of University of Kebangsaan in Malaysia. 

The CA further stated that Bangladesh and Malaysia will work together for the development of Asia and the preservation of global peace.

During the ceremony, the university conferred an honorary degree upon Chief Adviser. Dr. Muhammad Yunus reached in Malaysia on Monday at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

 On the third day of his visit, he participated in the special convocation of the university.
