Interim govt signed a discriminatory trade deal with US: CPD

Centre for Policy Dialogue- CPD has alleged that the outgoing interim government has signed a discriminatory trade agreement with US before leaving office.

The organization also advised the new government to withdraw the trade deal. CPD Research Director, Dr. Khandaker Golam Moazzem came up with the remarks at a briefing titled “Policy and Administrative Decisions in the Economic and Social Sectors: 180 Days and Beyond”, held in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, on Saturday morning. 

He stated that the scale of the country’s economic challenges is so extensive that the current government’s 180-day program will not be sufficient to resolve the crisis. Instead, a comprehensive five-year plan is necessary.
