US President Donald Trump has also threatened attacks on the island’s oil refinery.
Tehran, in turn, has warned of retaliatory strikes on US oil infrastructure.
Meanwhile, 12 people have been killed in an Israeli strike in Lebanon.
In the two-week-long conflict, nearly 1,500 people have died in Iran. In addition to Iran, Israel has carried out extensive airstrikes in southern Lebanon.
