An Iranian delegation led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Islamabad for discussions. However, Iran says there is little chance of direct talks with the United States.
Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson said no meeting with Washington is planned.
Pakistan, however, believes there is still a possibility of dialogue.
Meanwhile, a US delegation has also left for Islamabad. In a separate development, the US Navy has detained an Iranian vessel accused of violating a naval blockade, according to US Central Command.
