Islamic University: 3-day ‘Bangladeshi Festival’ held

A three-day “Bangladeshi Festival”  has been held under a banyan tree of Islamic University premises in Kushtia.

The event shows country’s rich heritage and geographical indication (GI) products.

 

 

The festival brought together traditions and cultural elements from across Bangladesh, creating a vibrant celebration of roots and identity.

 

 

Stalls representing at least 30 districts featured famous traditional foods such as Comilla’s Roshmalai, Bogura’s Yogurt,Tangail’s Chomchom, and Chattogram’s Mezbani spices. 

 

 

Students were captivated by the diverse collection of renowned foods from different regions of the country. 

 

 

In addition to food, various stalls displayed handmade clay crafts and traditional ornaments, including colorful bangles, necklaces, and earrings.
