Elected members from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and the National Citizen Party have taken oath as MPs and members of the Constitutional Reform Council after earlier uncertainty.
Jamaat leaders had delayed their decision as BNP members did not initially take oath in the reform council.
However, Jamaat MPs later took oath as Members of Parliament.
The oath was administered by Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin.
Later, elected members of the National Citizen Party also took oath as MPs and reform council members.
However, leaders of the Jamaat-led alliance were not present at the ministerial oath ceremony in the afternoon.
The development ends days of political uncertainty over the oath process.
