On Thursday, Election Commissioner Abdur Rahmanel Masud said the Commission will review the matter according to the law after receiving an official letter through the Speaker of Parliament. 

He also said the EC plans to begin local government elections with municipal and union council polls. 

The Commission is preparing for elections in October, with the schedule to be set after considering weather conditions, public examinations, and other important factors.
