Following a shutdown due to student protests, Jagannath University has reopened its doors for students.
On Saturday morning, students who had been using the medical center as a hostel returned to their regular residences.
To avoid academic disruptions, the university administration has decided to keep the campus open on Saturdays, May 17th and 24th.
This decision was made following a directive from the University Grants Commission.
In a statement, acting registrar Mohammad Sheikh Giasuddin confirmed the move, ensuring that students can resume their studies without further interruptions.
