Parliament is set for a tense session today as lawmakers prepare to debate a motion on the implementation process of the July Charter .
The adjournment motion, brought by Opposition Leader and Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, will be discussed during the final segment of the day’s agenda, in the first session of the 13th National Parliament.
The discussion is expected to last around two hours and may trigger intense exchanges between the ruling party and the opposition.
The motion also calls for deliberation on convening a Constitutional Reform Council in line with the July National Charter implementation order announced earlier.
