6 accused, including former Ansar member Omar Faruk and Savar UP Chairman Saidur Rahman Sujon, have been produced before the tribunal alleged in killing of July-August mass protesters in Mohammadpur and Savar in the capital.
The state said that the accused were brought to the tribunal to be presented in court for a pre-scheduled hearing.
The prosecution also said that more time will be sought from the 3-member tribunal headed by Justice Md.
Golam Mortuza Majumder for a fair investigation into the case.
The state also said that there are specific allegations against the accused of killing unarmed protesters and illegally using deadly weapons.
