Earlier, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had said in a notification that the process of resolving the crisis at KUET and relieving the VC and Pro-VC has begun.

Meanwhile, protesters of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology broke their hunger strike after nearly 58 hours and celebrated on the campus at midnight. 

The students were on a hunger strike demanding the resignation of Vice-Chancellor Muhammad Macchud.
