Home Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said, cattle markets during Eid-Ul-Azha will not be allowed to be set up on the roads.
The Home Adviser said this at a press conference after a meeting on law and order on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha at the Secretariat on Monday.
He also said, strict vigilance is there to stop all types of extortion at livestock markets and banners must be there in front of the vehicles carrying sacrificial animals indicating which livestock market they will go.
At this time, he said that the garment workers have urged for fair demands of the employers have been ordered to pay salary and bonus before Eid.
