Shafiqur Rahman, has said, persistent load shedding and inflated electricity bills demonstrate the government's inability to govern the country effectively.
Speaking to journalists at a press briefing in Bagerhat, he said, frequent power outages are occurring across the country, despite the government's refusal to acknowledge the situation.
He also alleged that consumers are once again receiving inflated electricity bills.
Dr. Shafiqur said, the government should be transparent about the country's challenges, arguing that problems cannot be solved by concealing them. He stressed that national crises must be addressed with public participation.
