A magnitude of 4.1 earthquake has struck the border between Bangladesh and West Bengal in India on early Tuesday.
However, no casualty was reported immediately.
According to ESMC, the tremor occurred at 4:36 AM and was centered, approximately 16km northwest of Satkhira in Bangladesh and 36 km east of Hab-ra in India.
The area is near a complex junction of Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates.
